Pious Projects of America along with many Muslim organizations, Islamic schools, and Mosques from around the nation have joined together as Americans to provide relief to the victims of Hurricane Harvey in Texas.
Our corporate office is launching a special campaign, "Have no fear Chicago's here", where we will be teaming up with many Chicago organizaitons, Muslim and Non-Muslim to start collecting supplies at our local warehouse to be loaded on a truck and sent to a local Mosque/Community center in Beaumont, Texas that will be used as a distribution point to help those who have been affected by the crisis.
Since part of Texas is still under the boiling water city order, we would like to send over a truckload of bottled water from the funds that we raise here. The remaining funds will be used to distibute to the families through a zakat fund that is established through the local masjid community.
We are asking for new items only. Some of the requested items are as follow:

- Feminine Products
- childrens Shoes
- Cleaning Supplies
- Vacuum Cleaners
- Laundry Detergant
- School Supplies
The Truck is planned to leave our warehouse in Bridgeview by the evening of September 15th and distributed on Sunday morning September 17th at the ISlamic Society of Triplex in Beaumont TX. These days are not yet confirmed. We will open our doors to collect the supplies at our local warehouse from 12-5pm located at 7541 W 99th Place, Bridgeview IL 60455. Please make sure to use google maps and type in Pious Projects so you dont get lose. We recommend also contacting sister Jumana to schedule the drop off 708-978-7000
All funds in this campaign will be used for purchasing relief items like water, school supplies etc, and also for any transportation or shipping costs.
